Typhoon Quest
Aims and Objectives
- To create a highly interactive, high-adrenalin video game experience: Typhoon Quest utilises real low-flying video, 3-D CGI, an intense bass-boosted soundtrack and compelling game-play – built into two highly-realistic (and mobile) Eurofighter cockpits and one full-size Eurofighter installation.
- To draw people (especially younger people) onto RAF stands: TQ uses large plasma screens to show the live gaming experience to the waiting crowds.
- To create a buzz about the RAF.
- To ensure a steady throughput of users: the game is a fixed-length experience, ensuring our target throughput of under three minutes per user.
- To create a web spin-off – with the impact and excitement of the original but at a fraction of the bandwidth.
