We love our work.
That’s why we have exceptional staff retention levels, especially for this volatile industry. (Most of our staff have been with us for over 5 years, many for longer).
It means the team you meet at the outset will take your project through to delivery and beyond. And you’ll have direct access to a senior project manager throughout.
In fact, you’ll be totally supported every step of the way.
Five key skill sets
In practice, we apply different skills in different ways for different projects. To give you an idea of how we will work with you here are 5 key areas that go into making brilliant digital media.
One of our digital strategists will help you define and then prioritise your objectives. They will build these into a unified, multi channel digital strategy; a strategy which works for you, your stakeholders and your users.
Simplicity! (Which is never easy).
Our UXD (user experience design) team create user-centred interaction designs which bring your digital strategy to life. We pick from a wide range of UX design techniques and tools – from creating user personas to user-testing live interactive prototypes – all to hone the interactive experience.
Here’s a UX case study on how this design process works in practice.
Binary Vision has vast experience, gained over 25 years, of building incredibly robust and effective digital media and web-based IT projects.
For instance, our bespoke technology drives all of the RAF’s websites as well as their global Intranet, ‘Airspace’ ( see RAF case study). This also includes social network integration and bespoke mobile applications.
In recent years, we’ve moved increasingly to open source platforms such as Drupal.
Our work is multi-channel (web, intranet, mobile, app, etc….) and platform neutral (Windows, Linux, etc). So you won’t be tied into a solution.
We’re agnostic on the choice of technology and not owned by any interest group.
It means we work with whatever technology is best for you, often mixing off-the-shelf applications with our own tailor-made software. By combining the best there is, and building on it, we can deliver your user-centred design, while keeping within your budget.
We will work with you to decide what content will work best for you, from beautiful broadcast quality film to a few pages of well honed text, we’ll develop a content strategy to pull it all together.
We have years of experience in producing video (from simple interviews to dramatised case studies), graphic design and illustration, all manner of animation (2D and 3D), photo shoots and image searches; whatever it takes to bring your project to life.
QA is the heart of everything we do, embedded through every process (including our project management and software development methodologies).
Before each release, we run formal and rigorous QA test scripts against specification (using both human and automated testing), and so fix problems before they happen.
Of course, the project doesn’t stop with delivery. We’ll continue to nurture the work we’ve created with you.
We create tailor-made aftercare programs such as dedicated training courses and structured support and maintenance packages – whatever it takes to deliver your digital strategy into the future.
